The feedback from them is the original A/C need you have to buy and install mechanical compressor + condenser + evaporator + hoses + tubes + fans … After all that you need to test the AC, see if there is no gas leakage…This takes a lot of time and people to work and problems … But electric A/C is easy to install and it only needs about 30 minutes to install it well, we just need to confirm whether the voltage is 12V or 24V.  


 
About second application(sleeping mode),when the engine turn off,the battery has the power still can running the A/C.The rated current is 45-50A for 24V.The power is 24*45A=1,080W.

Assuming that the battery has a capacity of 180AH and has been used for 2 years, in order to ensure that the remaining power can start the engine, then the reshuffled battery can release at most 180AH*24V(1-2*18%-25%)= 1,700WH power. In the formula, 18% is the annual loss of the battery and 25% is the power required to ensure the normal start of the generator. Because it is frequency conversion A/C.So it's 1,700/1080*1.2=1.9H. It can be use 1.9h at the 45A current. The current is changed according to the ambient temperature, in the night it's only has 15A the A/C can be using 4.7 hours some time it's can be use 8 hours.If battery power is large,the using time will be longer. Like this below endurance data:

How Many Hours that No Idle Air Conditioning can Last for Working?

When talk about the hours that truck sleeper air conditioner will work, many drivers according to their experience give the different answers, that makes the drivers who have no experience in parking air conditioners feel confused.  So what on earth the truck cabins air conditioner can last for? Now let’s calculate.

Before we calculate the hours, we should figure out that what will effect the truck sleeper air conditioner working time?

1. Truck battery storage.

The truck or other vehicles battery storage determines the air conditioners lasting time directly. For example, 150AH vehicle battery storage and 330AH vehicle battery storage, the ac working time may difference nearly double the time.
PS: 24V*150AH=3600WH=3.6KW*H that is the formulas about vehicle battery storage. The formulas means that for a 150AH truck battery storage it can storage 3.6 kilowatt power.



2. Parking air conditioners power.

The power of parking air conditioner is not same as the cooling capacity. For the no idle air conditioning, the power is about 700W - 1200W, and the cooling capacity will be at 2000W to 2800W.
For the different brands of parking air conditioner, its power differ a lot. For example the split truck air conditioner, it will show compressor power, condenser power and evaporator power, plus the three of them will get the final ac power. Usually, the parking ac power is more larger, and its cooling capacity will be larger, then the cooling effect will be better, but the lasting time will be short.

PS: please not that the vehicles power is very important for installing the parking ac, if the vehicle power is too small and install a ac that not matched with, it may result in the ac not cooling better. But for now, King Clima have a very small power ac that the power is about 500W, cooling capacity is about 1200W, which is very suitable for the forklift trucks cooling solutions. 3. External environment.
